Take one photographer with a ludicrous amount of talent, add a dash of boudoir, sprinkle on a generous helping of the romance that is Paris and what do you end up with? Well, if the photographer is Claudia from Ladies & Lord, you’ll have one hell of a styled Marie Antoinette boudoir shoot!
I caught up with Claudia and asked her how she hit on the idea of styling one lucky ladies boudoir shoot around Marie Antoinette.
It Started with a Crazy Girl’s Night Out
“This shoot was part of a crazy girl’s night out (well it was more like a weekend ) in beautiful Paris. Each girl wanted a boudoir shoot and this one was the most unusual. Being in Paris you want something fancy, right? And what is more French and decadent than Miss Marie?
Anyway, the flat we did it in was the most unbelievable setting with lots of old furniture just in the right Rococo style. I loved it.”
Wow! After such an awesome shoot I simply had to know more about the lady behind the lens of Ladies & Lord so I asked Claudia to tell us a little bit about herself.
“I’ve been a photographer for more than six years now and have a degree in fine art photography. I’m based in Austria and Mallorca but I used to live in the UK (Oxford) for about eight years. I miss the UK dearly and would love to come back, but so far I only travel there for clients. Which does give me the opportunity to go shopping in London……yaaay!
I specialise in wedding and boudoir photography; basically anything to do with ladies, hence the name of my brand – Ladies & Lord. I do have my very own ‘lord’ who collaborates on shoots, his name is Ingo and together we get up to all kinds of mischief all over the world. Woooohooooooo!”
Ah mischief and romance, Claudia you’re my kind of woman
