After a rather romantic proposal in Crete, Ross and Rachel celebrated with an intimate engagment party at Morgans Hotel, Swansea. The evening was filled with laughter, love and cake ………lots and lots of cake
It was difficult to choose the pics for this post. Usually I publish images which capture the look of the day – images that will give you inspiration for your big day. However, I found it difficult not to publish every darn pic that was taken! The photographer captured moments, and every moment meant something to me. Yet I am aware that they may not mean anything to you. So I filtered down my choices. But I couldn’t resist publishing the image above and below.
This is my son, Daniel. He will be thirty next January. And he gets up to all kinds of crazy, on a regular basis! He doesn’t do it for attention; he does it to make people happy. My daughter fills people’s lives with gentleness and care, my son fills people’s lives with laughter and understanding, my son-in-law to be fills people’s lives with thoughtfulness and love. I know all parents say this; I must be the proudest mum on the face of the planet!
OK, back to the engagement party. With a wedding to save for the couple were on a pretty tight budget, so all the decorations were handmade.
Rachel has her own cake business, she made all the cakes herself.
It’s good to see a couple that are still big kids at heart!
Wishing Rachel and Ross the lifelong happiness I know they deserve. I can’t wait to see what they have planned for their wedding!
