I Reveal the Queen of Hearts Hat in a Mini Photo Shoot

What happens when you mix together one incredibly talented lady, a husband with a great eye for photography, a trowel load of make-up, a glass of wine and a sunny day?

You end up with a pretty ruddy marvellous mini photo shoot ( I have to say that hubby reads my blog) starring an absolutely gorgeous Queen of Hearts hat, made especially for me by Barb of Maison de Cantern.

When I first approached Barb and asked her if she would like to make a Queen of Hearts inspired hat for a photo shoot, I didn’t expect her to produce such a stunning work of art.

Just bask in all the glorious details:

For a person that usually hides when they see a camera, I think I did pretty well – the wonders of red wine :)

I published a whole feature on the making of the hat where you can wonder at Barb’s creativity.

Along with a plethora of styles, Barb makes some really unusual Steampunk fascinators and hats. So, get yourselves over to her website and say hi.
